Memorial services for Clema
I. Harrison, 88, of C,aldwell, who died Saturday, Oct. 6, in a
Caldwell nursing home of natural causes, will be held at 11
a.m. Wednesday in the Montana Avenue Baptist Church, Caldwell.
Pastor Brad Kolbo of the Lake Hazel Baptist Church, Boise,
Pastor Irving Frank of Caldwell and Pastor John Sauser of the
Montana Avenue Baptist Church will officiate.
Private burial services will be held at Greenleaf
Cemetery, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel,
Mrs. Harrison, a homemaker, was born Oct. 5, 1986, in Cass
County, Mo., a daughter of Alfred H. and Sarah Doud. She was
raised in Otego, Kan., and graduated from Mankato High School
at Mankato, Kan.
She attended teachers college at Albion Normal School in
Albion and taught school in the Twin Falls area for several
years. She married Wilmer L. Harrison on June 15, 1920, at
Twin Falls, Wendell and Vale, Ore., before moving to the
Kuna-Nampa area in 1941.
In 1961 they retired to Caldwell and also maintained a
home at Depoe Bay, Ore., where they enjoyed the Oregon coast
for many years. Mrs. Harrison taught Sunday school and was
active in her church for most of her life.
She was a member of the Montana Avenue Baptist Church in
She is survived by her husband of Caldwell; a son, William
S. Harrison of Caldwell; two daughters, Wilma F. Roberts of
Greenleaf and Sara M. Kolbo of Nampa; seven grandchildren; and
Four brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.
