David Fuhriman

    Funeral services for David Gordon Fuhriman, 22, of Nampa, who died Monday, Jan. 11, at a Boise hospital of natural causes, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at the Nampa 5th Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on-Sunnyridge Road with Bishop Kenneth Wheeler, officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. Services are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    David was born on June 2, 1965, at Nampa to David and Ginger Fuhriman. He was reared and educated in Nampa graduating from Nampa High School. While growing up he was very active in the scouting program. He played drums in the school band and accompanied several musical groups around the valley. He also participated in drama activities and wrestling in school. He enjoyed playing sports and was an instructor. He was a very active member of the LDS Church and served a two-year mission in the Phillipines.
     At the time of his death he was a member of the Nampa 5th Ward LDS Church.
     He enjoyed fishing, hunting and four-wheeling.
     He is survived by his parents of Nampa; three sisters, Crystal (Mrs. Todd) Walker of Salt Lake City, Utah, Fawn (Mrs. Farron) Rice and Sarina Fuhriman, both of Narnpa; two brothers, Nick, serving a mission in England, and Nyal of Nampa; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Reece; several aunts and uncles; three nieces; and three nephews. He was preceded in death by two grandfathers and a grandmother.
    The family suggests memorials to the Mt. States Tumor Institute, 151 E. Bannock St., Boise 83712-6297; or to St. Luke's Hospital 4 South, 190 E. Bannock St., Boise 83712.
    The family will greet friends at the church on Friday from 9 to 9:45 a.m.
