Dorothy Kandler

    Graveside services for Dorothy Kandler, 70, of Boise, and formerly of Nampa, who died Friday, Dec, 26, at a Boise nursing home of natural causes, will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
    The Rev. Ray Wright of Whitney Methodist Church, Boise, will officiate under the direction of Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian.
    Mrs. Kandler, a homemaker, was born Feb. 7, 1916, at Herreid, S.D., to Chris and Dorothy Goehrin.  She was raised and educated in South Dakota.
    She married Emil Fuhrman of Buhl, N. D., at Herreid.  They moved to Nampa in 1945 where they began their family.  
    She worked at the Birdseye potato processing plant in Nampa.
    She is survived by a son, LeRoy Fuhrman of Boise; two daughters, Margie Miller of Boise and Mary Lou Averill Sandy, Utah; two sisters, Bertha Fuhrman of Meridian and Eva Kneopfle of Artas, S.D.; and six grandchildren. ,
    She was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.
    Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian.
