Douglas R. Jensen,
40, of Nampa, died Friday, Feb. 5, 1993, at a Las
Vegas, Nevada, hospital from injuries sustained in an auto
accident on Jan. 28, 1993. Funeral
services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11,
1993, at the Berean Baptist
Church, 904 12th Ave. Raod
(sic). Pastor Donn
Mogford, pastor of the church will officiate.
Burial will follow in
the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Caldwell.
Services are under the
direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel,
Nampa.
Doug was born Oct.
6, 1952, at Appleton,
Minnesota, to Donald W. and Muriel
Jensen. He was reared and educated in
Nampa, graduating from
Nampa
High School in 1972.
He had since lived in Nampa, helping his parents and brothers and
sisters with odd jobs. Since
August 1991 he had lived at the Anderson Shelter Home with
Bonnie and Leroy Smith in Nampa.
He had been training
at the Boise Service Group and working as a custodian at the
First
Church of the Nazarene in Nampa.
He loved the outdoors
and camping with his family. He
especially loved spending time with his many nieces and
nephews. He is
going to be sadly missed by his father and stepmother, Donald
W. and Elsie Jensen, Nampa; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law,
Ralph and Nancy Jensen, Nampa, James and Faith Jensen, Kuna,
and Lee and Linda Miller, Wyomissing, PA; 4 sisters and
brothers-in-law, Mary Ann and Chip Houst, Boise, Kathryn and
Cheryl B. Stewart, Nampa, Peggy and Robert Nelson, Portland,
Maine, and Jane and Eugene Radermacher, Lynnwood, WA; numerous
nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in
death by his mother, Muriel Jensen in 1991.
Friends may call at
the Alsip Funeral Chapel on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
