Earl Gundersen

    Services for Earl H. Gundersen, 74 of Boise, who died Tuesday Feb. 5, in a local hospital of natural causes, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Kingdom Hall, Jehovah's Witnesses, 7670 Emerald, Boise.  Michael Kimball will officiate, under the direction of Relyea Funeral Chapel, Boise.  Private graveside services will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Nampa.
    Mr. Gundersen, a self-employed mechanic, was born April 27, 1910, at Atlantic, Iowa.  He moved to Idaho in 1923 where he was reared and educated.
    He attended Nampa High School and later attended business and mechanic school in Upland, Calif. He married Esther L. Spencer on June 16, 1934. They celebrated their 50th anniversary June 9, 1984.
    He is survived by his wife, Esther of Boise; a son, John Gundersen of Boise; two daughters, Yolanda Poindexter of Monterey, Calif., and Marjie Pierson of Boise; two brothers, Lee Gundersen of Brush Prairie, Wash., and Lyle Gundersen of Nampa; four sisters, Edna Barnes of Mountain Home and Marjorie Powell, Miriam Lester and Carol Ferdinand, all of Nampa; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
    A grandson died in October of 1984.
    Friends may call today until 8 p.m. at the Relyea Funeral Chapel, Boise.
