Eleanor Howard

Eleanor Turner Howard, 96, of Southern Pines, North Carolina, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 1993.  Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at Persons- Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa, with Eldred Bagley officiating.  Private family burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
We lost one of God's best creations.  Married October 24, 1915, in Boise, to the late Roy Howard. After his death in September, 1965, she moved to New Jersey to join her son, Wallace Howard, and family, where she devoted the rest of her life to making their home happy and blessed.  She was a loving mother of four children, and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.  Everywhere her special love lives on through the beauty that she added to our days, in her words of wisdom and memories that will never be gone.  Forever, on this side of heaven, loved and missed by family and friends.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Howard of Sandy, Utah, Roy Howard of Sacramento, Calif., and Wallace Howard of West End, N. Carolina; one sister, Mary Willcut of Boise; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Muriel (who died in 1918 with the flu epidemic).
