Ellen Johnson

    Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen E. Johnson, 85, of Nampa, who died Monday, August 28, 1995, at a Nampa retirement center, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 30, 1995, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Rev. Roy Litsey, pastor of the Bethel Church of the Nazarene in Nampa will officiate.
    Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
    Ellen was born on February 25, 1910, in Caldwell, Idaho.  She was reared and educated in the Riverside Community near Caldwell.  She married Leo S. Johnson in 1935 in Caldwell and they resided at the Johnson family fruit ranch until 1944 when they moved to Marsing.  They resided at Marsing until returning in 1962 to Nampa.  Mr. Johnson died in 1974.
    She was a member of Bethel Church of the Nazarene in Nampa.  She enjoyed growing flowers and working in her garden. She also enjoyed working with crafts.
    She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Sandra Johnson of Boise; a son, Edward J. Johnson of Nampa; a daughter-in-law, Leoni Johnson of Nampa; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry McIntyre of Caldwell and Ross McIntyre of Nampa.
    Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and sisters and a son, Robert.
    Memorials may be made to the Missionary Fund, c/o Bethel Church of the Nazarene, Nampa, Idaho 83686, or flowers may be sent.
    Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today until 9 p.m.
