Services for Elton Blaine
Harris, 46, of 6111 Airport Rd., Nampa, who died Tuesday, Oct.
25, in a Boise hospital from natural causes, will be conducted
at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa, with
Pastor William G. Arthur of the Nampa First Congregational
Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
He was born March 7, 1937, at Boise. He was reared and
educated at Nampa, graduating from Nampa High School in 1955.
He worked for Amalgamated Sugar Company in Nampa for 23
years. He worked as a welder and mechanic and at the time of
his death was an assistant foreman of the field department
He had served in the Idaho Air National Guard 124th
Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and worked on the jet that is
now in the Lakeview Park in Nampa.
He is survived by one son, Blaine Gregory Harris, Nampa;
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Harris, Meridian; one
brother, Ervin R. Harris, Caldwell; one nephew, Kenneth Harris
in the U.S. Marine Corps; one uncle, John Hailey, Veronica,
Ore.; four aunts, Jessie Brown, Fallon, Nev., Annie Jess,
Nampa, Helen Knox, Payette and Edna Whitted, Nevada; one great
uncle, George Hailey, Nampa, and several cousins.
