Services for Franklin Milton Glover, 62, of 1733 South
Juniper St., Nampa, who died Sunday, Oct. 3, at his home, will
be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel with
Dr. John W. Wallace, pastor of the Nampa United Presbyterian
Church, officiating. Private family interment will follow.
He was born May 29,1920, at New Yope, Ala., to Wesley and
Lillie Glover. At a young age he moved to Chicago, Ill., with
his parents, where he was reared and educated. He entered the
U.S. Air Force and served during WW II. He was honorably
discharged and returned to Chicago. He was a refrigeration
engineer in the Chicago area and later moved to Houston, Tex.,
where he was employed with Humble Oil Company. He married
Ruth I. Heckel on Feb. 14, 1975, in Las Vegas, Nev. They
lived in Rialto, Calif., and later San Bernardino. He retired
and in October of 1981 they moved to Nampa where they had
since resided.
He is survived by his wife of Nampa; two stepsons, Larry
Heckel, Nampa, and Greg Robinson, Ogden, Utah; three
stepdaughters, Denise Heckel and Sheree Dufour, both of Nampa,
and Debi Swanson, Long Beach, Calif.; and two step
grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mercy Medical
Center Educational Fund, or flowers may be sent. |
