HOMEDALE -
Mrs. Florence B. Harrison, 91, of Melba Star route, died
Wednesday in a Homedale nursing home.
Mrs. Harrison was born Oct. 31, 1880, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and
was reared there and lived there most of her life. She
taught in a Brooklyn high school until she retired in 1949.
She had lived in Arizona, Fort Collins, Colo., and Washington,
D.C., before moving to Idaho in 1969.
She was a member of the Episcopal Church and the National
Association of Retired Teachers.
Surviving are a son, Donald C. Harrison, Roxbury, Conn.; a
nephew; a niece; two grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a
sister, Mrs. Ella B. Addoms.
Graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at
Hillcrest Memorial Gardens under the direction of Dakan
Funeral Chapel of Caldwell. |
