NAMPA
- Services for George Bradford Kendall, 66, of 546 Sixth St. N.,
Ext., who died at his home Sunday, will be conducted at
Flahiff Funeral Chapel,
Nampa, at 2 p.m.
Saturday by Bishop R. Cecil Williams of the First Ward Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens
on Karcher Road.
Mr. Kendall was born Dec. 11, 1907, in Preston, and moved with
his family to Downey
in 1908, to Meridian in 1918,
and to Nampa in 1919.
He started work for
the Union Pacific Railroad as a section hand in 1925 and
worked for many years between Minidoka and Nampa.
He retired 12 years
ago because of ill health. He
married Nellie Dobson May 26, 1940, in Burley.
They lived there a
year, and then the couple moved to
Nampa
in 1941. The couple
was later divorced.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Louise Young,
Sandy, Utah, Mrs. Joan Good, Nampa, and Mrs. Georgene
Cummings, Ogden Utah; three brothers. Ralph C. Kendall,
Ferndale, Wash., Roy L. Kendall, Othello, Wash., and Cluff T.
Kendall, Boise; four sisters, Mrs. Jennie McKinney, Brawley,
Calif., Mrs. Marguriett Jaime, Huntington Park, Calif., Mrs.
Nanna I. Hansen, Nampa, and Mrs. Lillie Oppe, Caldwell; a
half-brother, Don Ciccone, Blackfoot; and 10 grandchildren.
A sister preceded him
in death.
