Funeral services for Gaylen Dale "Stubbs" Jensen, 34, of
McCall, and formerly of Nampa, who died Sunday, Feb. 4, 1990,
at the McCall hospital of natural causes, will be conducted at
10:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 8, at the Smith Building, Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; 1500 Smith Ave. Ext.,
Nampa. Bishop Kirk
Jenkins of the Nampa 11th Ward will officiate.
Interment will follow
in Hillcrest
Memorial
Gardens,
Caldwell.

the direction of Alsip Funeral Chapel,
Nampa.
Mr. Jensen was born March 26, 1955, in
Nampa to Earld and Grace Jensen.
He was reared and
educated in Nampa.
After high school he
worked for several years as a meat cutter for Albertsons, M&W
and Shaver's in Nampa and McCall.
He also helped many of
his friends with cutting up big game.
He married Connie
Toston June 11, 1983, in
Caldwell.
They had lived in
McCall for the last three years where he was owner and
operator of a carpet and upholstery cleaning business.
Gaylen loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
He had many friends
and enjoyed them greatly when they would visit him in McCall.
He will be missed by
all who knew and loved him.
He
is survived by his wife, Connie of McCall; a daughter, Shannon
of McCall; his parents, Grace Karr and Earld Jensen, both of
Nampa; a brother, Leon and his wife and family, Kathy, Tim,
Mikel and Tamara of Nampa; a brother Scott Jones of Nampa;
maternal grandparents, Orville and Zola Tuel of Nampa; and
numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was
preceded in death by a brother, Marty Dean Jones.
Memorials may be made to a special fund set up for the family
at Treasure Valley Bank, P.O. Box 830, Nampa, Idaho 83651;
or flowers may be sent.
Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel on
Wednesday to greet the family from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on
Thursday at the church from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. prior to
services.
