Bob Huff

    Gerrald Robert Huff, 66, of Wilder, died Tuesday, June 14, 1994, at a Boise hospital.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 17, 1994, at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.  Rev. Ramero Cruz-Ahedo of the Wilder United Methodist Church will officiate, with Masonic Rites by Silver City Lodge #13 A.F. & A.M.  Interment will follow at the Wilder Cemetery, Wilder, Idaho.
    Mr. Huff was born October 18, 1927, at Wilder, Idaho to Guess and Mildred Alley Huff.  He was raised and educated at Wilder and graduated from Wilder High School with the Class of 1945. Following his graduation he attended the University of Idaho for 2 years.  He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from February of 1951 until January of 1953 when he was honorably discharged. Bob married Margaret Criehton February 14, 1953, at Nampa, Idaho.  Together they made their home in Wilder where he had since resided.  Bob farmed most of his life until recently when his health would no longer permit it.
    Bob was active in many organizations. He was a member of the Wilder United Methodist Church.  He was also a member of the Silver City Lodge #13 A.F.& A.M.  and the former Wilder Lodge # 83 A.F. & A.M.  He was a past Worshipful Master of each lodge.  He was a member of the El Korah Shrine and the Scottish Rite.  Bob served as the Associate Grand Guardian of Jobs Daughters for many years.  This was a position he was proud of and very much enjoyed.  He was also a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge of Wilder.
    Bob enjoyed fishing and hunting.
    He is survived by his wife, Margaret Huff of Wilder; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Claudia Huff at Mountain Home A.F.B., Dan and Debbie Huff of Yakima, WA., and Leonard Huff of Wilder; a daughter and son-in-law, Melody and Bert Orris of Wilder; a sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Herb Huff of Wilder; and 6 grandchildren.
