Geraldine V. Hale, 65, of
Caldwell, died Thursday, August 11, 1994, at her home of
natural causes. Graveside Memorial services will be held at 10
a.m. Tuesday, August 16, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Caldwell. Rev. Jim Burch, United Methodist Church, Caldwell,
will officiate under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel,
Caldwell.
Geraldine was born October 8, 1928, at Nampa, Idaho, a
daughter of Roy and Blanche Bass Whitmore. She was raised and
educated in the Caldwell and Nampa area. She worked for
Simplot's, Mountain States Wholesale, and the Idaho state
School and Hospital. In 1980, she moved to western Montana,
and in 1992 she returned to Caldwell where she has since
resided.
Geraldine enjoyed fishing, outdoor activities, going to
yard sales, and her Bulldog "Buddy."
Survivors include a son, Randy Dooms, of Caldwell; two
daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Mica Sturgis, of Powell,
Wyo., and Elda and Wesley Brown, of Wichita, Kansas; a brother
Bert Whitmore, of Caldwell; three grandsons and one
granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, and
a son, Kenneth Dunaway.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m., Monday, at Flahiff
Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. |
