George Hartman

    Funeral services for George Hartmann, 82, of Nampa, who died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 1989, at a Nampa care center, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Father Francis Springer of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa, will officiate.  Private family interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
    Mr. Hartmann was born Oct. 31, 1907, in Germany to Andreas and Walburga Hartmann.  He was reared and educated in Germany.  At the age of 22 he came to the United States and settled in California.  In 1941 he moved to the Boise Valley where he farmed for many years.  He later retired and moved to Nampa to make his home.  He also lived in Meridian for a short time.  He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
    George is survived by two brothers, Andreas Hartmann and Fritz Fink, both of Germany; and two sisters, Barbara Hartmann and Laura Fleschhut, both of Germany.
    Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
