Herman Jensen

    Graveside services for Herman T. Jensen, 85, Arleta, Calif., formerly of Caldwell, who died Tuesday, Aug. 16, at a Panorama, Calif., hospital of natural causes, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell, by Dr. Donald H. Frank of the Boone Memorial Presbyterian Church, Caldwell.  Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    He was born Nov. 12, 1897 at Lyons, Neb., where he was reared and educated. He married Beulah Mortor on Dec. 22, 1924 at Council Bluffs, Iowa.  They lived near Lyons until moving to California in 1939.  They moved to Caldwell in 1945.  He was employed as a truck driver for the City of Caldwell.
    Mrs. Jensen died on March 18, 1982.  After his wife's death, he moved to California, where he had since resided.
    He is survived by one son, Carrol Jensen, Arleta, Calif.; one granddaughter, one great-grandson and one sister, Carrie Francis, Colorado Springs, Colo.
