Henry Heckathorn

    Services for Henry Wendell Heckathorn, 33, of Portland and formerly of Nampa, who died Friday, Aug. 23, in a Portland hospital of natural causes, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    The Rev. Michael Ahlborn, associate pastor of the First Full Gospel Church in Caldwell, will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
    Mr. Heckathorn was born on March 22, 1952, in Nampa where he was reared and educated, graduating from Nampa High School in 1970.  He moved to Portland in the early 1970s and worked for the Damasch State Hospital as a psychiatric aide.
    He is survived by his parents, Lloyd W. and Ann Heckathorn Jr., of Pocatello and Lee and Dorothy I. Reed of Nampa; three brothers, Darrel Wayne Heckathorn of New York, Gene Brady Heckathorn and Timothy Heckathorn, both of Nampa; and one stepbrother, Robert Summers of Seattle, Wash.
    He was preceded in death by two brothers.
