Henry Hansen

    Services for Henry H. Hansen, 85, a longtime Nampa resident, who died at a Nampa care center Thursday, Oct. 17, will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa, with the Rev. Joseph Hoash of the Nampa First United Methodist Church officiating. Masonic Rites will be conducted by the Nampa Ashlar Lodge 90 A.F. and A.M.  Private interment will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
    Mr. Hansen was born May 24, 1900, in Walnut, Iowa, son of the late Henry and Mary Hansen.  At a young age he moved with his family to Platte, S.D., where he grew up and attended school.  He was marled to Ava Brilla Cook Feb. 24, 1920, in Platte, S.D.  They farmed in South Dakota until moving to Nampa in 1960.  Mrs. Hansen preceded her husband in death in January 1984.
    He was a member of the Nampa Ashlar Lodge 90 A.F. and A.M. and also the Nampa First United Methodist Church.
    He is survived by one son, I.C. Hansen of Anchorage, Alaska; a brother, Rob Hansen of Elkhorn, Neb.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
