Irene Fitch |
Irene Mariam Fitch, 86, of Nampa, died on Saturday, June 24,
1995, at a Caldwell care center. Funeral Services will
be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, 1995, at the
Karcher Church of the Nazarene, corner of Middleton and
Karcher Roads. Rev. Richard J. Mark will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Greenleaf Cemetery. Services
are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Irene Mariam Fitch was born on June 13, 1909, in Velva, No.
Dakota, where she was reared and educated. She married
Rev. George L. Fitch on June 9, 1929, in Nampa. They
pastored Nazarene Churches in Wash., Oregon, Idaho and Canada.
In 1970 they returned to Nampa to make their home. Rev.
Fitch preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1977. Following
the death of her husband she continued to make her home in
Nampa. She was a member of the Karcher Church of the
Nazarene.
Irene is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Wathene
"Wally" and Gil Holtry, Nampa; 4 sons and daughters-in-law,
George and Mary Fitch, Pittsburgh, CA, James and Mary Fitch,
Filer, ID, Philip and Mary Helen Fitch, Sacramento, CA, and
Robert and Dixie Fitch, Winston, OR; a brother, Charles Olson,
Minot, No. Dakota; 2 sisters, Esther Pietzer, Minot, No.
Dakota, and Ruby Anderson, Portland, OR; 22 grandchildren; a
number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
The family suggests memorials to the Karcher Church of the
Nazarene Building Fund, P.O. Box 978, Nampa, ID 83653. |
