Jack Frost

    Graveside services for Jack B. "Jackie" Frost, 63, of Caldwell, who died Thursday Feb. 28, 1991, at home of natural causes, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 8, at hillcrest memorial Gardens, Caldwell.  The Rev. Ray Thompson of United Methodist Church, Caldwell, will officiate under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.  Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
    Jackie was born Feb. 4, 1928, at Caldwell, where he attended schools and lived his entire life.  He served in the U.S. Army from May 1946 to November 1947.  After his discharge he worked in logging operations and in various construction jobs in the Boise Valley.  Recently he had helped to open and close the Caldwell Senior Citizens.  He and his mother lived together, supporting each other until she reached her later years when he took over, taking care of her until her death.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman and lived animals.
    He is survived by two brothers, J.F. Frost of Tucson, Ariz., and Carol E. Frost of Caldwell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
    The family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association  of Idaho, Boise.
    Friends may call today until 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Flahiff Chapel, Caldwell.
