NAMPA – Funeral services for
Mrs. Jessamine E. Hammer, 90, 158 Moreland St., Twin Falls,
who died at her home Wednesday, will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Saturday at College Church of the Nazarene with the Rev.
Clarence Kinzler, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Hammer was born April 16, 1883 at Aberdeen, S.D. She
was married to the Rev. Ira E. Hammer June 10, 1903, and he
preceded her in death on Nov. 7, 1972. Mrs. Hammer was a
member of the College Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by three sons, Eldro V. and Maynard E.
Hammer, both of Nampa, and Edwin M. Hammer, Salt Lake City;
five daughters. Mrs. George (Orda ) Hood, Portland. Ore., Mrs.
George (Naomi ) Jackson, Portland. Mrs. Glenn (Myrna ) Roach,
Twin Falls, Mrs. Frances E. Cahoon, Portland, and Mrs. James
(Esther ) Montgomery, Portland; one brother. Clayton L. Evans,
Miami Beach, Fla.: and by I6 grandchildren and several nieces
and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by
one daughter.
The family suggests that memorials be given to the
Nazarene World Missionary Society, or flowers may be sent.
