Jeanive Fogleman

    Jeanive O. Fogleman, 72, of Nampa, died Monday, October 3, 1994, at a Boise hospital, following complications of a second stroke.  Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 6, 1994, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Pastor Robert Miller, associate pastor of Nampa First Church of the Nazarene will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
    Jeanive O. Fogleman was born on January 24, 1932, at Hudson, South Dakota, to John and Olena Grottveit.  She attended grade school there and in 1944 moved to Nyssa, Oregon, with her family, where she was reared and educated., graduating from Nyssa High School.  She then attended secretarial schooling at the Nampa Business College.  Later she went to work for the Vocational Education Department for the state of Idaho.
    She married Elvin Fogleman in November of 1956 at Nyssa and they lived in Boise.  In February of 1958 they came to Nampa where they have since resided.  She left the Vocational Department and devoted full time to raising their 3 children.  After her family was raised, she then went to work for the First Security Bank in Boise.  She retired, due to ill health in December of 1993.
    Jeanive attended Nampa First Church of the Nazarene and had been active in the children's church.  She also had helped out in the public schools.
    Jeanive is survived by her husband, Elvin of Nampa; 2 daughters, Sandra Fogleman, Portland, Oregon, and Karen Corbell and her husband David, Long Beach, California; 1 son, Scott Fogleman, Boise; 1 sister, Jean Alexander, Nyssa, Oregon; 2 grandchildren, Seth and Olivia.
    She was preceded in death by her parents.
    Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today until 9 p.m.
    The family suggests memorial contributions to the Idaho Elks Rehabilitation Hospital, P.O. Box 1100 Boise, Idaho 83701.
