James Fletcher

    Graveside services for James Fletcher, 91, of 1623 7th St. S., Nampa, who died Friday, Oct. 1, 1982, at a Nampa nursing home will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Dr. John W. Wallace, Pastor of the Nampa United Presbyterian Church, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel.
    Mr. Fletcher was born on April 17, 1891, in New Cambria, Mo., to James and Nannie Fletcher.  He was reared and educated in New Cambria.  He married Etta Frances Dorrell at Marceline, Mo. on Dec. 20, 1911.  They farmed in Missouri until they moved to Oklahoma in 1926.  They farmed in Oklahoma for 10 years.  They moved to Nampa in December of 1936, where they continued to farm until his retirement.  His wife preceded him in death on Oct. 24, 1971.
    He is survived by two sons, Lester and Charles both of Nampa; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.  Friends may call at the chapel today from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
