John E. Foote, 80, of Cove, Ore., died Saturday, Nov. 3, 1990,
at home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Mr. Darrell Ady of the Nampa Church of Christ will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Middleton Cemetery, Middleton.
Mr. Foote was born May 9, 1910, at Vineland, N.J., the son of
John H. and Carrie Foote. He spent his entire life
involved in farming. He married Elise Lantes March 26,
1928, at Elizabeth, N.J. He moved from new Jersey to
Middleton, Idaho, in 1944. From there he moved to
Imperial Valley, Calif., and returned to Middleton in 1949.
In later years he made his home in Sacramento, Calif., with
his daughter, Vivian and her family He married Opal
Hoofnagle Aug. 5, 1989, at Sacramento. They were living
in Cove at the time of his death.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Opal of Cove; a son and
daughter-in-law, Norman and Jean Foote of Watsonville, Calif.;
a daughter and son-in-law, Vivian and Paul Fuston of
Sacramento; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Doug Eno of
Boise; a daughter, Bernice Hays of Boise; his stepchildren,
Clara Thompson, Neva Hoofnagle, Nancy Miller and Ed Hoofnagle;
two sisters; and numerous grand-children and
great-grandchildren. |
