The funeral for Lloyd E. Fluetsch, 70, of 302 E. 3rd St.,
Meridian, who died last Wednesday at home, was conducted
Tuesday at Nampa First Church of the Nazarene by Pastor Robert
E. Garber of Napa First Mennonite Church and the Rev. Charles
E. Higgins of the Nampa First Church of the Nazarene.
Private family burial, in Middleton Cemetery, preceded the
services. He was formerly of Nampa.
He was born De. 17, 1909, at Jamestown, N.D. When he
was 9, he moved with his parents to Nampa, where he was raised
and educated. He married Thelma Lowe on Feb. 7, 1936, at
Hilsboro, Ore. He farmed in the Nampa area for many
years. He participated in the farming operation at the
Idaho State School and Hospital for seven years. He
retired in 1977 and they moved to Meridian. He was a
member of the Valley Shepherd Church of the Nazarene at
Survivors include his wife of Meridian; three sons, Jon of
Clawson, Mich., Robert and Sam; two daughters, Mrs. Kelly
(Anne) Miller and Mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Lee, all of Nampa; a
brother, Charles of Jamestown, N.D.; three sisters, Mrs. Ray
(Margaret) Blickenstaff, Mrs. Alyce Blickenstaff and Mrs.
Byron (Grace) Altizer, all of Nampa; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons and four brothers.
