Leota King

    Graveside funeral services for Leota May King, 57, of 2901 S. Illinois Ave., Caldwell, who died Wednesday at a Nampa nursing home, will be con-ducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Canyon Hill Cemetery by Dr. Larry Crist of the Treasure Valley Christian Church, Caldwell. Friends may meet at the cemetery.
    She was born May 29, 1925, in Bend, Ore., and was reared and educated in Caldwell. She married Hersel L. King on Jan. 13, 1940, in Hailey, Idaho. They made their home in Red Bluff, Calif., and she worked as a restaurant cook there for many years. In 1969 they moved to Caldwell and she worked for a brief time at the J.R. Simplot Company. She was a member of the Treasure Valley Christian Church.
    She is survived by her husband of Caldwell; four sons, Dale of Caldwell, Jerry of Napa, Calif., Duane of Red Bluff, Calif., and Denis of Parma; one daughter, Margaret King of Caldwell; her mother, Mrs. Evone Long of Burney, Calif.; two brothers, Virgil Ragsdale of North Fork, N.C., and Ronald Ragsdale of Burney; a sister, Maxine Cusick of Burney; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
    Friends may call at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, Sunday from 1 until 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
    Memorials may be given to the hospice program at Mercy Medical Center, Nampa, or to the Treasure Valley Christian Church, Caldwell.
