Leah Fisher

    Leah Nora Fisher, 100, of Parma, died Saturday, March 19, 1994, at a Caldwell care center.  Funeral services will bge held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 1994, at the Parma Revival Center.  Rev. Paul Nickens will officiate.  Interment will follow at the Parma Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma.
    Mrs. Fisher was born September 19, 1993, at Tucumseh, Oklahoma, to Clarence and Martha Ratliff Gibbs.  She moved to Baker City, Oregon, at the age of 6 and later moved to Middleton.  She met and married George Fisher at Fruitland and they moved to the Parma area in 1918 where she had since resided.  She and Mr. Fisher were later divorced.
    she was  a member of the Parma Revival Center.
    Survivors include a daughter, Melba Edgar of Parma; a son, Vern Fisher of Parma; a sister, Velma Whittig of Caldwell three grandchildren, Jeanne Hamilton, David Sutton and Jeff Sutton; and four great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and a sister.
    Friends may call at Dakan Funeral Chapel in Parma from 5 to 7 p.m. today.
    Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
