Leland Hall

    Leland Hall Leland Eugene Hall, 79, passsed (sic) away Saturday, Aug. 25, 1990, at his home in Warden, Wash.
    Leland was born March 19, 1911, near Roswell, Idaho, to Charles R. and Blanche (Compton) Hall.  He married Lois M. McEwen Nov. 25, 1937, at Caldwell.  They moved to the Columbia Basin in 1959.  He farmed in Idaho and Washington and worked for Crookham Seed Co. in Caldwell.  He also worked for the Warden school district until he retired in 1973.  He enjoyed taking care of his garden and fishing.
    Leland is survived by his wife, Lois at home; two sons, Marvin of Friendsville, Tenn., and Lynn of Celina, Ohio; four daughters. Rosalie Peters of  Bremerton, Wash., and Linda Gould, Diane Hall and Geraldine McDonald, all , of Warden; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Laura Burley of Nampa; and  numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by a son, Roger; five brothers, Roy, Curtis, Albert, Peter and Lester, and three sisters, Mildred Raymond, Clara Mercer and Agnes McGee.
    Services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29, at 10 a.m. at the Church of Christ, 808 E. Sharon, Moses Lake, Wash.  Leland will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.  Arrangements are under the direction of Muscott-Stevens Funeral Chapel, Othello, Wash.
