Services for Leora W.
Harris, 48, of Caldwell, who died Tuesday, April 15, at home
of natural causes, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 18, at
the Notus Church of the Nazarene.
The Rev. Robert Ogden, pastor of the church, will
officiate. Burial will follow at the Lower Boise Cemetery,
Parma, under direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Mrs. Harris, a homemaker, was born Feb. 8, 1938, at Rigby
to Jake B. and Elva Robertson Keller. In 1943, at the age of
five, she moved to Ontario with her family. She moved to
Boise in 1952, graduating from Boise High School in 1956.
She married Richard B. Harris May 4, 1957, at Winnemucca,
Nev.
She was an active member of the Notus Church of the
Nazarene, where she taught nursery-kindergarten Sunday school
classes for four years, served on the church board for three
years and was recently elected missionary president.
She is survived by her husband of Caldwell; two daughters,
Susan L. Harris of Caldwell and Shari Frye of Boise; two sons,
Richard S. Harris of Boise and Chris T. Harris of Caldwell; a
grandson, Jacob L. Harris of Caldwell; a sister, Edith Nasker
of Emmett; two brothers, Clarence Keller of Barstow, Calif .,
and Steve Keller of Boise.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Notus Church of the Nazarene,
in care of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 1386, Caldwell
