Lyle Gibson

    Graveside services for Lyle E. Gibson, 74, of Caldwell, who died Tuesday, December 6, 1994, at the Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 12, 1994, at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.  Reverend Allen Nelson of the Deer Flat Free Methodist Church, Caldwell, will officiate. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
    Mr. Gibson was born September 6, 1920, at St. Joseph, Missouri, a son of Charles Henry and Mary Nellie McBeth Gibson.  He was raised and educated in St. Joseph. Lyle served with the U.S. Army from 1942 until he was honorably discharged in 1945.  Lyle farmed in the Stapleton and Mason City, Nebraska, areas until moving to Caldwell in 1966. He worked for Birdseye as a supervisor for several years.
    Lyle enjoyed hunting, fishing and horses.
    Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Kim Gibson of Nampa and Charlie and Toni Gibson of Caldwell; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Mike Isom of Caldwell; and eight grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a son.
    Friends may call Sunday from 1 until 5 p.m. at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel Caldwell.
