Services for Myrtle Anna Grim, 79, of Nampa, who died Friday,
March 15, 1985, at her home, will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday,
March 19, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa, with the Rev.
Joseph Housh of the Nampa First United Methodist Church
officiating. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens.
She was born May 17, 1905, at Lemons, Mo., to Rolla and
Effie Hennis Johnson. She was reared and educated in
Missouri. She married R. Alfred Grim on Sept. 6, 1924, at
Chillicothe, Mo., and they made their home in Worthington, Mo.
In 1948, they moved to Nampa, where they have resided since.
She had worked at Simplots and the Birdseye plant in Nampa
for several years. She was a member of the Nampa First United
Methodist Church and of the Nampa Chapter #30 O.E.S.
She is survived by her husband of Nampa; one daughter,
Mrs. Weldon (Belva) Johnson of Nampa, one brother, Melvin
Johnson of Unionville, Mo.; two sisters, Mary Shearer, Iowa
City, Iowa, and Maxine Duncan of Unionville, Mo; one grandson;
one great-granddaughter; two great-grandsons and several
nieces and nephews. She was I receded in death by three
brothers and two sisters.
The family suggest memorial contributions to the Hospice
Program, in care of Mercy Medical Center, 1512-12th Ave. Rd.,
Nampa, Ida., 83651. Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral
Chapel today and Monday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from
8 a.m. to 1 p.m. |
