NAMPA - Funeral services for
Mollie Alice Helt, 80, of the Golden Glow Towers, Nampa, who
died unexpectedly there Thursday, will be conducted at 10:30
a.m. Monday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel.
The Rev. Duane Buhler, pastor of the Calvary Assembly of
God Church of Nampa, will officiate. Interment will follow in
the Garden of Good Shepherd at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Helt was born Dec. 18, 1889, at Springtown, Ark. She
was reared near Spokane, Wash., and was married to William A.
Helt on March 16, 1909, at Buhl, Idaho. They farmed at Addy,
Wash, for three years, then moved to southern Idaho, where
they farmed in the Buhl and Gooding areas until 1919.
They moved to Namp in 1919, and farmed here for a number
of years. Mr. Helt preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 1959.
In recent years she had operated a trailer court, grocery
store and motel, near Caldwell, for about four years. She was
a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church of Nampa.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Mildred O. Bigger
of Couer d'AIene, Mrs. LaVisa E. Breckon and Mrs. Nina Leone
Morris, both of Nampa, and Mrs. Neva Ilene Floyd of Portland,
Ore.; two sons, William A. Helt of MarysvilIe, Calif., and
Leon Dale Helt of Caldwell; one sister, Mrs. Kitty Herrington
of Wilder; and by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by
one son, Eldred E. Helt. |
