Private burial will
take place at Caldwell Memorial Cemetery
in Caldwell,
Idaho, for Maybel Annabelle Kemp, 83, of
Chico,
CA, who died Monday, December 9,
1996, at her home.
She was born June 12, 1913, in Clearfield, Iowa,
to Lee and Josie Smith. She
was raised in Iowa,
and on February 13, 1942, she married Glen E. Kemp.
The couple lived in
Idaho Falls, Idaho,
before moving to Caldwell, Idaho,
in 1966. In 1995 Mrs.
Kemp came to Chico.
She was a member of
the Caldwell First Baptist
Church.
Survivors include 2
daughters, Donna Kemp of Chico
and Glenda Kemp-Tilly of Jacksonville, Oregon; a
brother, Claude Smith of Idaho Falls;
3 sisters, Margie Kullar of Butte,
MT, Virginia Monte of Caldwell,
ID, and Gwen Smith of
Darlington, ID;
and 1 granddaughter, April Kemp-Guss of
Chico.
Burial
will take place next to her late husband.
Memorial
contributions may be made to Pet Haven of Nampa, Idaho, in
care of Newton-Bracewell Chico Funeral Home which is in charge
of arrangements.
