Mary Frans

    Mary E. Frans, 82, of Nampa, died Thursday, May 31, 1990, at the Nampa hospital.  Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 4, at hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.  The Rev. Donald J. Brown of the Star Friends Church will officiate.
    Mrs. Frans was born March 3, 1908, at Fay, Okla., a daughter of Henry C. and Marie Woldridge Tomlinson.  She grew up and attended schools there.  She married Elvin M. Frans Dec. 22, 1929, at Watonga, Okla., and they made their home and farmed in Oklahoma until moving to Nampa in February 1939.  They later moved to Melba and thereafter to California where she was a licensed practical nurse at the Camarillo State Hospital.  She was divorced in 1961.  She retired and returned to Nampa in May 1971. She had worked at the Idaho State School and Hospital for a time.
    Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Marion Kale and Donna Frans of Nampa; two sisters, Opal Siddons of Redmond, Wash., and Martha Bouher of Watonga; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
    Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa and may meet at the cemetery for services.
