Mary
E. Keslar, 71, of Nampa, died
Tuesday, June 22, 1993, at a
Boise
hospital. Memorial
funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, June
26, 1993, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel. Rev. Robert Garber of
Nampa
will officiate. Private
family interment will follow in the
Hillcrest
Memorial
Gardens. Mary E. Keslar was born
on November 15, 1921, at Nampa, Idaho,
to John and Dora Owens. She
was reared and educated in
Nampa.
She married Glen L. Keslar on December 24, 1948, in
Nampa
where they made their home. Mary
had worked at Dixies Ice Cream in Nampa,
Birdseye and Simplot's in
Caldwell.
She loved fishing, her
flowers and an occasional trip to Jackpot.
But she particularly
loved her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There were very few
days there were not children in her home.
She asked for so
little and gave so much. She
will be missed by her family and her friends.
Mary
is survived by her husband, Glen of Nampa; 4 daughters, Bonnie
Garcia, Sacramento, California, Sharon Toombs, John Day,
Oregon, Glena Sherman, Lewiston, Idaho, and Billie Jo Hammond,
Caldwell; 4 sons, Don Bristow, Nampa, Frank Bristow Jr.,
Ontario, Oregon, John Keslar, Nampa, and Donnie Bristow Jr.,
Boise; a special aunt, Neva Casey, Nampa; 3 brothers, Ted
Owens, Nampa, Alfred Owens, Adrian, Oregon, and Jack Owens,
Renton, Washington; 4 sisters, Daisy Perry, Tacoma,
Washington, Rose Robinson, Nampa, Bonnie Berrett, Nampa, and
Ruby Tallman, Sacramento, California; 19 grandchildren; 18
great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She
was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister and 2
great-granddaughters.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Mary
E. Keslar Rescue Equipment Memorial Fund for the Nampa Fire
Dept., c/o Nampa West One Bank, Main Branch.
