NAMPA – Rosary for Mrs. Mary Justine Schrimpster, 62,
720 13th Ave. S., Nampa, who died Tuesday at a
local hospital, will be recited at 8 p.m. Tomorrow at Shepherd
Mortuary. Requiem High Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
Saturday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr.
Edward McMonagle as celebrant. Concluding services will be at
Mount Calvary.
Mrs. Schrimpster was born March 5, 1901, at Belcourt,
N. D. She attended school at Grand Forks, N. D., and also
Haskell Institute at Lawrence, Kan., where she graduated in
June 1925. She taught school for two years at Shiprock, N.
M. She was married to Abraham Schrimpster on Nov. 1, 1925.
They moved to Pocatello in 1933, where they lived until moving
to Nampa in June 1947, and had lived at Nampa since that time.
She was a member of St. Paul's Legion of Mary, and the
church's Altar Society and choir.
Survivors include her husband, at home in Nampa; three
daughters, Mrs. Rita Ann Guyer of Pocatello, Mrs. Lovella
Florine McCuaig of Plattsburgh, N. Y., and Mrs. Elizabeth Jean
Berger of Easton, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Azure of
Rolla, N. D., and Mrs. Mary J. Veverdure of Grand Forks, N.
D.; and six grandchildren. |
