Farmer Succumbs This Morning In Home Near Wilder |
Myrl Toney
Schimmels, 33, Parma, route 1 farmer, died 3:34 this morning
at his home near Wilder.
Services will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Monday at Parma Community
church, with Rev. Robert C. Shupe of Roswell officiating.
Schimmels was born August 4, 1917 at Naponee, Nebraska, where
he was raised and attended high school. He moved to Parma with
his parents, worked first in a local service station and later
as a farmer.
He married Opal Martin at Notus October 9, 1937.
Survivors are his wife, Opal M.; two sons, Doyle Myrl, 11,
and Maurice Gene, 8; a daughter, Linda Jane, 5; his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Tony Schimmels of Parma; five brothers, DeLoyd,
Gerald and Wayne of Parma, Winfred of Cedar Falls, and Lynn H.
presently stationed in the navy in San Diego; two sisters,
Irene Sitts and Kathleen Morford of Caldwell; and eleven
nephews and 19 nieces. Burial will be in Parma cemetery. |
