Services for Mamie
James 81, of Wilder, who died Friday, March 14, at a Homedale
nursing home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the
Flahiff Funeral Chapel Homedale. The Rev. Alfred Bowens of the Church of God in Christ Boise, will officiate.
Burial will follow in
the Wilder Cemetery.
Mrs. James was born
Feb. 27, 1905, at Milton, Fla.
She was reared and educated in Florida
and Louisiana.
She lived in Louisiana until moving West in the late
1930s. She married
Jack James at Wheeler, Wash., in 1946. They
lived at Grand Coulee,
Wash.,
Moses Lake
and later at Pasco.
They moved to Wilder
in November 1982.
She enjoyed fishing, sewing and cooking.
She was a member of
the Church of God in Christ.
She is survived by
her husband of Wilder; a daughter, Bobble Botley of San Diego;
a sister, Connie Reed of DeQuincy, La.;
fourd grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; several nieces
and nephews; and a foster daughter, Mary Perot of Wilder.
Friends may call at
the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale, Wednesday from 5 until 8
p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until noon.
