Mildred Johnson

    Mildred L. Johnson, 98, of Boise, formerly of Nampa, died Wednesday at St. Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise.  Private funeral services will be conducted by Alsip Funeral Chapel in Nampa with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
    Mildred was born on July 12, 1898, to Percy and Hattie Ryon in Bridgeport, Connecticut.  She lived in Bridgeport until she married Enoch Johnson and the couple moved to Flasher, North Dakota, where they lived for several years.  They then moved to Nampa until Enoch’s death in 1979, when she then moved to Boise until her death.  She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Rebekah, Ammeranth, and a local china painting club.  She also was an avid rock hunter with her husband around the state of Idaho and enjoyed tropical fish.
    Mildred is survived by 1 nephew, Phillip Rome and family and 1 niece, Kathleen Powers and family.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Enoch in 1979, 1 brother, Earl and 2 sisters, Maude and Elsie
