Funeral
services for Nina E. Gould, 69, Nampa, who died Friday, May
17, at a Boise hospital of natural causes, will be conducted
Monday, May 20, at 2 p.m. at the Dakan Funeral Chapel,
Caldwell. The Rev. Earl D. Shaffer of the Oregon Trail Church
of God will officiate. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest
Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Gould was born Nov. 27, 1915, to Willford and Elva
Gould in South Dakota. She completed some of her education in
Senecea, S.D., and as a teenager moved with her family to
Custer, S.D. S he married Raymond Gould on Feb. 20, 1930, in
Custer. They moved to Nampa in 1951 and then moved to Parma
in 1960. After Mr. Gould's death, she moved back to Nampa,
where she had resided since.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna Warren of Parma,
Sharon Henderson of Boise and Pam Nelson of Caldwell; five
sons, Delbert of Meridian, Jim of Nampa, Jerry of Boise,
Clifford of Dingle, and Dick of Parma; three brothers, Bill
Thorn, Stan Thorn and Clifford Thorn: 18 grandchildren and 15
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents, husband, one son and two sisters. Memorials may be
