Graveside services for
Nettie Hollenbeck, 74, of 210 South 9th, Caldwell, who died
Wednesday, March 23, at a Caldwell hospital will be conducted
at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Caldwell, with the Rev. Earl Shaffer of The Oregon Trail
Church of God, Caldwell, officiating. Services are under the
direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel of Caldwell.
She was born May 24, 1908 in Tennessee and moved to Nampa
with her family at 8 years of age. One year later they moved
to Tacoma, Wash., where she finished her education. She
married William Hollenbeck June 29, 1926.
They moved to Wolf Creek, Ore., and lived there for a few
years before moving back to Tacoma, Wash. They lived in
Tacoma until moving to the Caldwell-Nampa area in 1944 where
they lived the rest of their lives. Mr. Hollenbeck died in
1965. Mrs. Hollenbeck worked for Simplot's in Caldwell until
she retired in 1973. She is survived by two sons. Jim
Hollenbeck, Bellevue, Wash., and Donald Hollenbeck of South
Dakota ; one sister, Annabelle, Tacoma, Wash.; five
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call at
the chapel today from 3 until 6:30 p.m. |
