Services for Ora Lorraine
Henderson, 56, of Nampa, who died Friday, Oct. 3, at the home
of her daughter, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the
Amity Building, LDS Church.
Bishop Dale Law of the Nampa Eighth Ward Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate. Interment will
follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Caldwell. Services
and interment are under the direction of Alsip Funeral Chapel,
Nampa.
Mrs. Henderson was born June 10, 1930, at Sugar City,
Idaho, to Vernon and Katherine Morris Gardener. She was
reared and educated at Sugar City. After her schooling, she
moved to Idaho Falls and attended beautician school. She then
moved to Omaha, Neb.
She married Bill D. Henderson Jan. 13, 1951, in Omaha.
Their marriage was later solemnized in March 1969 at the
Idaho Falls LDS Temple. In September 1953 they moved to
Nampa, where they had since made their home.
She was a member of the Nampa Eighth Ward LDS Church,
where she had been very active and was involved in several
church positions.
She is survived by her husband of Nampa; three daughters,
Kathy Jennings of Nampa, Tracie Tackett of Wilder and Kellie
Rose of San Diego, Calif.; a son, Dan Henderson of Nampa; a
brother, Evan Gardner of Caldwell; two sisters, Marie Prickett
of Caldwell and Juanita Wyatt of Boise; five granddaughters, a
grandson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three
brothers.
Friends may call at Alsip Funeral Chapel from 1 to 9 p.m.
today and from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday.

Hospice Program, in care of Mercy Medical Center, 1512 12th
