HOMEDALE - Graveside
services for Orville Ralph Hammer, 68, of 202 W. Montana,
Homedale, who died Thursday at a Nampa hospital following an
illness, will be conducted at 2p.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest
Memorial Gardens under direction of Homedale's Flahiff Funeral
Chapel.
Bishop Richard Siebold of the Homedale Ward Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will officiate. The
cortege will leave the chapel at 1:30 p.m.
Mr. Hammer was born Oct. 30, 1903, at Woodville, Idaho, a
son of William A. and Annie Elizabeth Messervy Hammer, and
attended schools in Woodville. He was married to Nellie P.
Ward on Feb. 20, 1956, at Pasco, Wash. He worked for the
General Electric Co., for 15 years at Richland, Wash., and
then worked for the Battele Northwest Co., in Richland. He
later retired and moved to Homedale two years ago.
He was a member of the Homedale Ward LDS Church.
Surviving are his wife, of Homedale; two stepsons, Dr.
Mack Fulyler of Los Alamos, N. M., and S Sgt. Chester Fulyler
of Beal Air Force Base, Calif.; one daughter, Billie Jane
Johnson; four brothers, William Grant Hammer, Clarence Urwin
Hammer and Earl H. Hammer, all of Payette, and Floyd Hammer,
Moses Lake, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Jane Novak,
Ontario, Ore.; five grandchildren, 10 nieces and 21 nephews.
Friends may call at the chapel Sunday, Monday and Tuesday
until service time. |
