Philip Grosvenor

    Philip Grosvenor, 75, of Caldwell, died Saturday, December 5, 1992, at the Caldwell hospital.  Memorial services will take place at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, December 10, at the Free Methodist Church, 3320 S. Montana Avenue, Caldwell.
    Mr. Grosvenor, son of David and Alice McCormick Grosvenor, was born December 25, 1916, at Roswell, ID.  He attended schools and graduated there.
    He married Leone Grady June 7, 1940, in Caldwell. They lived throughout the U.S. in connection with Phil's 21 years of service in the Air Force and later working in quality control for TRW and Reda Pump Co.  To this union was born David Grosvenor of Mesquite, TX. Leone Grosvenor died June 14, 1983.
    He married Irene McNees April 6, 1984, at Denver, CO.  They had a wonderful marriage lasting eight years and seven months and celebrated each month's anniversary with expressions of love and affection.  Phil was an integral part of Irene's family, which includes Ken and Mary Kay McNees, sons Sean and Jeremy of Westminister, CO, daughters Jenneth "J.R." and Jossalyn McNees of Los Angeles, CA, and daughter Sandy McNees Palmer, her son Lane and Shelley Palmer, Austin, TX, Sundae Palmer, Ft. Collins, CO, and twin daughters Casey and Cody of Littleton. CO.
    Phil was a member of the Parma Masonic Lodge No. 49, Scottish Rite Bodies, the El Korah Shrine and Motor Patrol and the Snake River Shrine Club.  He was one of the early caravaners to the Shriners' Hospital in Salt Lake City and one of the originators of the caravan that went to Spokane He also belonged to Caldwell Lodge No. 1448.
    Mr. Grosvenor is survived by his loving wife, Irene Grosvenor; son David "Dee" and Nancy Grosvenor of Mesquite, TX; brother, John Grosvenor of Cupertino, CA; grandchildren, Gary and wife, Shirley Grosvenor of Nampa, Greg and Denise of Mesquite, TX, and great-grandchildren, Michael, Preston and Shelby.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dorothy Tyson.
    The family suggests memorials be made to the Shriners' Hospitals for Crippled Children.
