Raymond Fox

    Services for Raymond William Fox, 62, of Parma, who died Saturday, Aug. 22, in a Boise hospital of natural causes, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Kirpartrick (sic) Memorial Presbyterian Church, Parma.
    The Rev. Wally Vos of the United Pentecostal Church, Parma, will officiate, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.  Burial will follow at the Parma Cemetery.
    Mr.. Fox was born June 25, 1925, at Lathrop, Mo., to Walter H. and Vina M. Campbell Fox.  He moved with his family as a young child to Nyssa, Ore., where he was raised and educated.  He graduated from Nyssa High School in 1943.
    He then joined the U.S. Navy, serving on the USS Steamer Bay aircraft carrier during World War II.
    He married Betty Lout Tuttle Dec. 10, 1947, at Parma.
    They lived several years in Nyssa before moving to Parma, where they owned the sanitation service.
    Mrs. Fox died in 1984.
    He is survived by a son, Ross Fox of Parma; a daughter, Julie Williams of Virginia Beach, Va.; a brother, Don Fox of Adrian, Ore.; a sister, Velma Beck of Seattle; two grandchildren; and a stepgrandchild.
    Memorials may be made to a favorite church.
