Graveside services for Robert Jack Jordan, 63, of Weiser, who
died Saturday, Sept. 5, at home, will be held at 2 p.m.
Thursday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Nampa.
Bishop Norman S. Wood will officiate, under the direction of
Thomason Funeral Home, Weiser.
Mr.
Jordan
was born April 6, 1924, at
Nampa, to Sullivan and Flourra Russell
Jordan. He grew up in
Nampa
and graduated from
Nampa
High School.
He served with the
U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II as a gunner.
He
married Gayle Buck September of 1944 at
Caldwell.
He worked as an auto
mechanic for most of his life at Hodge Motors and
Cal's Auto Parts, both in Weiser. He
retired in 1976.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He
is survived by his wife of Weiser; two sons, Rodney Jordan of
Nampa and Terry Jordan of Sacramento, Calif.; a daughter,
Roberta Jordan of Colville, Wash.; two sisters, Joann Player
of Quincy, Mass., and Alice Hunt of El Paso, Texas; two
brothers, Russell Jordan of Twentynine Palms, Calif., and Andy
Jordan of Seguin, Texas: and four grandchildren.
