Russell Freeman

    Memorial services for Russell H. Freeman, 69, of Ontario, Ore., who died Thursday, Dec. 23, at a Boise hospital of natural causes, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by Chaplain Archie Thornton of the Boise Veterans Administration under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    He was born April 14, 1913, in Iowa but he was reared and educated in South Dakota.  He married Winona Hefflefinger on Oct. 1, 1932, in Mitchell, S.D.  They ranched in South Dakota until moving to the Treasure Valley in 1936.  He was a cattle buyer and retired in 1976 and they moved to Ontario, Ore., where they had since resided.
    He is survived by his wife Winona of Ontario; one son, Guy Freeman of Marsing; one daughter, Mrs. Charles G. (Betty) Cooper of Ontario; one brother, James B. Freeman of Caldwell; two sisters, Mrs. O.W. (Betty) Moore of Caldwell, RS R.K. (Marjean) Beatty of Molalla, Ore.; and six grandchildren.
    Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
