Rosary for Thomas J. Kennedy, 76, of 103 Chapel Dr.,
Caldwell, who died Thursday, Oct. 20,
at a Caldwell
hospital of natural causes, will be recited at 7:30 tonight at
the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by Father Raul Covarrubias
of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Caldwell.
Mass
of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Saturday
at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Caldwell, by Father John W.
Morgan. Entombment
will follow in the Building
of Reverence at Hillcrest
Memorial
Gardens,
Caldwell.
He
was born July 31, 1907, at Butte, Mont., and was
reared at Helena, Mont.
He later returned to
Butte, where he married Cecelia O'Leary
on June 29, 1933. In
1942, they moved to Valllejo (sic), Calif., where he worked
at a shipyard for a time. He
then worked for the C&H Sugar Company before going to work at
the state hospital at Napa, Calif.
He retired from there
in 1971.
They had moved to Caldwell in December of 1981, where they had
since resided. He was
a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Lodge 11,
Butte,
Mont., and of St. Mary's Catholic
Church, Caldwell.
He is survived by his wife of
Caldwell: two daughters, Margie McDonagh of
Caldwell and Geraldine Tucker of
Denver, Colo.; one
sister, Margaret Pinkerton of
Palo Alto, Calif.;
13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He
was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at the chapel today until 9 p.m.
