Sylvester 'Slim'

    Thelma Dean Chase Hill, 87, of Nampa, died on Saturday, March 21, 1992, at her home.  Private family graveside services were conducted at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell, under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    Thelma was born on June 6, 1904, at Independence, Missouri.  She and her husband, H.M. Chase, made their home in Nampa.  Mr. Chase was a leading produce shipper in the Treasure Valley for many years.  Mr. Chase preceded her in death in 1968.
    Thelma is survived by a son, Art Chase, Sedona, Arizona; 2 granddaughters, Corrine Cron, Boise, and Jackie Lee Butlin, San Diego, CA; 2 brothers, Earl McMillin, Nampa and Cooper McMillin, Caldwell; a sister, Genevieve Thompson, Boise; 6 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
    The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, 1526 Ventura Dr., Nampa, ID 83686.
