Valerie Hendry

Valerie Crawforth Hendry, 25, of Nampa, died Saturday, January 20, 1996, at a McCall hospital.  Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 1996, at Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell.  Committal services will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 24.
Valerie was born February 22, 1970, at Nampa.  She graduated from Caldwell High School in 1988 and for the past 15 months has been employed by the Canyon County Extension Service.  Valerie married her soulmate, Kenny Hendry September 10, 1994, and together with Kiersten, they made their home in Nampa.
Valerie was “personality plus,” always smiling, she touched everyone’s heart.  She was a wonderful daughter, mother and loving wife.  Though her journey on earth is done, she is already lighting up the heavens and looking down on her loved ones with that special smile and mischievous wit, knowing that we all loved her dearly.  She’ll always remain in our hearts.  Heaven has indeed inherited a very special angel.
Valerie is survived by her loving husband, Kenny and the light of her life, her daughter, Kiersten; her best friend and mother, Debra Crawforth of Nampa; her father, Glendon F. Crawforth of Caldwell; her grandmother, Joyce Kelly of Kennewick, Washington; her grandparents, Glendon H. and Helen Crawforth of Parma; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a wealth of friends.
In lieu of flowers, Valerie's family requests that memorial contributions be made to a college trust fund for Kiersten at First Interstate Bank in Nampa.
